Getting to Almaty
There are 3 ways to get to Almaty downtown or other destinations in Almaty. Bus, Taxi and car. We would advise to book your accommodation as close to the circuit as possible for your convenience. The circuit from Almaty City to the Sokol International Circuit is 70.6km away which is approximately one and a half hour drive depending on where your location is and traffic.
Bus transport from the Airport to downtown Almaty which is the Line 92 bus takes approximately 45 minutes.
The cheapest option from the Airport to downtown Almaty is to drive and is 16.2km away which takes approximately 20 minutes.
Alternative option from the Airport to downtown Almaty is by taxi which also takes approximately 20 minutes.
Ubers are also available which you can book online but be aware as drivers may opt to take you on a longer route so make sure of the fee before hopping in!
Getting to the Circuit
Private cars, Taxi and Ubers are the options to get to the circuit and there is parking space at the Circuit, but the better option is to make use of public transport as much as possible. Please when booking your accommodation enquire whether they provide public transport to the Circuit or not.
