Nearest Airport
Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), home to Etihad Airways is located just 13km from Yas Island. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is located 126km from Yas Island.Abu Dhabi has a reputable taxi service and you will have no hassle to get from the airport to your hotel on Al Ghazal taxi services. Find the taxi rank by turning left out of the arrivals area and following a long passageway to a covered platform next to the taxi stand. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Alternatively there is the A1 bus service which runs to and from the city every 30-45 minutes, all day and night and departs from Terminal 3 outside.
Parking
Ticket-holders for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix can park at Yas Mall car park which is close to the circuit. Your circuit entry tickets will grant you access to the car park, the shuttles will be running frequently to and from allocated Grandstands. You can also hop on the circular shuttle to go around the island.
Coach & Bus
The Yas Express is a complimentary island shuttle service that connects all major attractions on Yas Island through designated bus stops.
Blue Route: Operating daily from 9am to 9pm, the Yas Express Blue Route connects guests to and from the Yas Viceroy Hotel, Yas Plaza Hotels, Yas Central, Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi.
Red Route: Operating daily from 9am to 2am, the new Yas Express Red Route connects guests to and from all the hotels to Yas Marina, Yas Links and Yas Beach.
Taxi
Yas Island is conveniently located for those travelling by taxi, situated only 7 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, 25 minutes from Abu Dhabi, and 45 minutes from Dubai. Taxis will drop off at a designated stop area on Yas Island. From here a shuttle bus will take you to the circuit. If possible, try to book your pick-up in advance to avoid a long wait.
