Nearest Airport

The nearest major airport is Singapore Changi Airport (SIN / WSSS). This airport is 19km from the centre of Singapore and has international flights. Hang Nadim International Airport (BTH/WIDD) is another airport which has international and domestic flights. This airport is 61km from the centre of Singapore. Senai International Airport (JHB/WMKJ) another airport has international and domestic flights and is 63km from the centre of Singapore.
The fastest ways to get from the airport to the city is by Taxi which takes approximately 30 minutes. There is the metro (MRT) stations and you can get a train or other option is the Bus services.  Most downtown Hotels offer Airport Shuttle services of which can be arranged once booking your accommodation.
 
 

Parking

Given the increased volume of traffic around the circuit, it is highly recommended that you use public transport instead of driving. If you decide to drive, please note that due to the road closures, parking around the circuit will be very limited.

Coach & Bus

Shuttle buses are available over the grand prix weekend, some shuttle buses also run from the MRT stations to various circuit gates.You can pay for your bus fare using an adult stored value smartcard (EZ-link / Nets FlashPay) or the Singapore Tourist Pass (STP). Just keep an eye out for the electronic card reader — located next to the bus driver—and tap as you board. You can also use your foreign-issued Mastercard® and Visa contactless bank cards issued outside of Singapore to pay for your ride.  You can refer to the the SBS TransitSMRTGo-Ahead Singapore, and Tower Transit Singapore websites for more information and guidelines.

Taxi

Taxis are comfortable and especially handy if you want to go to places not accessible by the bus or MRT.  You can hail a taxi by the roadside at most places, or by queuing for one at a taxi stand, which you’ll find at most malls hotels and attractions. Taxis are available for the circuit transportation.

Train

Singapore’s MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) system is probably the fastest way to zip around the city. Most of our popular attractions are just a short walk away from an MRT station, making our trains a great way to get around. Besides being an economical way to get around, it’s one of the most scenic — you’ll be able to indulge in air-conditioned comfort, as you admire the lush greenery and beautiful architecture of our ‘city in a garden’.  MRT trains run to various stops located close to the circuit. Which station you should use will depend on your grandstand location and designated entrance gate.

Walking and Cycling

Walking is a good way to get to the track if you’re staying nearby,  but long distances in the heat and humidity are best avoided. Cycling around our sunny island is a great way to get your dose of Vitamin D and enjoy the green spaces that dot our city. Singapore boasts a well-connected network of cycling paths, and you can rent shared bicycles from licensed operators.
