Lombok Praya International Airport (LOP) is also known as the Zainuddin Abdul Madjik Airport and is the main Airport on the Island based in Praya, Indonesia. The airport consists of one terminal for both International and domestic flights. The Airport is located in the South Central part of the Island and the distance from the Airport to the Circuit and is approximately 30 minutes drive, being about 24km away. Kuta being the closest town is 25 minutes drive away and the Airport is north of Kuta. The Airport is spacious and not so crowded with a coffee shop, restaurants for dining and other shops to browse through while waiting for your flight. There is ample sitting space for boarding gates and free uninterrupted Wi-Fi for passengers to stay connected and that last minute call.

 

Taxis

There are a large amount of Taxis available to reach your destination and you will find the drivers very helpful and friendly. If you wish to book a Taxi on arrival, Airport Taxi is the official operator at the Airport which you need to book at the stand before you leave the baggage hall. If you prefer to catch a Taxi which uses a metred system you will find these taxis waiting in the arrival area. A Taxi from the Airport to Kuta is approximately a 30 minute drive and surprisingly an affordable way to get around the island.

Shuttle

Book online in advance if you require a shuttle service, Mini Van to transport you to your destination. Some accommodations can organise this in advance once you have made your booking with them.

Car Rental

Car rental is available at the Airport Terminal and if this is your preferred option, we advise you take out Insurance for your own safety to cover you while touring. Traffic is not as busy in Lombok as Bali. Make sure you download the necessary app to help you get around easily.

Buses

There is no Bus service from the Airport however in Mandalika, there is the  Mandalika Terminal and there you will find many public buses and mini buses to take you around the Island. But please take note that this transport is run in the day only, once the sun sets the transport ceases.
