The nearest airport to Assen is Groningen Airport which is 14.2km away from Assen. Other nearby Airports include Amsterdam Schiphol which is 143.4 km, Bremen which is 148.8km, Eindhoven which is 188.8km and Dusseldorf which is 191.5km away. Train services run from the airport to Assen, which is situated just 3km from the circuit.
Car and Parking
The Dutch TT Circuit at Assen is located right next to the Highway A28, If you arrive by car from Amsterdam or Utrecht you should take the A28 and exit at Assen Zuid (32). Follow the signposts to find the circuit. The entrance road is double-lane and all parking area’s are free of charge. During busy events the traffic is guided by circuit staff which will direct you to the nearest motor or car parking.
By Public Transport
The best thing is travel to the Trainstation of Assen by train or local bus. During the World Superbike and MotoGP of the Netherlands, there are special transfers-coaches bringing you to the circuit fast and cheap. From the trainstation at Assen it is also very easy to take a taxi direct to the circuit. You will be dropped near the Strubben Grandstand or in the Paddock if you have to go the VIP area.
